Commissions are currently: OPEN

Pay me to draw you stuff! Why? I don’t know apparently you like to torture your eyes. This page is designed to help you order your perfect commission and get an idea ahead of time how much it’ll probably cost you. It’s pretty wordy but I tried to be as detailed as possible in order to make this run easier for the both of us. Have a look through the page and if you think I’m the right artist for you pop me an email and tell me what you want. If you’re unsatisfied with my final price you can just pass but this page should give you a pretty good idea of what it’ll cost so try to only email me if you are somewhat serious. You can order a commission by email or by PM on the Milk in the Pantry forums.

How detailed you want to be in your description is up to you but I will only redo the pencils once or twice and from then on the amount of changes after each stage I am willing to make is very limited so either be specific or be open minded. That said I am very capable of making changes along the way and keep you up to date with my progress.

Commissions are done on a first come first serve basis. I will usually only begin work on your commission after I have received payment unless you are a returning customer. You can pay with PayPal, check, money order or cash.  Use my contact email for PayPal payments. If you want to pay by snail mail just tell me so in your order email. Click here for a list of pending commissions. To see more of my work for examples visit my DeviantArt gallery. If you find a style in there you want on your commission pointing me to it can help get your commission right too.

What I will draw: I’m pretty open to just about anything, give it a shot you may be surprised. I probably would draw the line at X-rated material but I am willing to do tasteful nudity to a degree but I may end up charging more depending on the specific nature of the content. My skills are what they are so if you don’t think I am great at anatomy you may not want to order nudity from me. I’m good with a lot of “fetish” type drawings even if they include my own characters (refering mostly to my webcomic, Emergency Exit). I mean things like Gender Swap, Anthropomorphic (furries), Weight Gain or variation thereof, ect. I can do either romantic and violent, cute or scary, ect. I will post all art on my DeviniatArt gallery and maybe in my Portfolio, if you wish your name to remain anonomous with any mention along the image just ask.

Copyright Characters: Everyone does it. It seems to be a strange grey area in the legal system. I don’t think it’s technically supposed to be allowed but it is heavily done online. Basically until someone asks me to stop drawing their characters for profit I’ll do it. I don’t know how most webcomic authors would feel about it but anything mainstream should be safe. Some webcomic authors don’t mind having someone commission fanart for them, I’ve had it done for me before and I was delighted. The choice is yours. I do however have full permission from Ben Feuter to draw his characters and probably anyone on Milkinthepantry would be fine with it too since they are all my friends

Commercial Use: If you want me to draw you something you want to use in a publication, advertisement or something where you profit from it you must talk to me about it when ordering this will affect the price greatly and may have other circumstances applied to it. I am however willing to do it so just ask.

Discounts: Sometimes I mention these within the descriptions. Ordering multiple characters or bulk drawings will often result in some discounts but how much is up to me. Requesting anything using characters from Emergency Exit or any other character of mine will also result in a discount, how much depends on the image requested but there is guaranteed to be some sort of discount (usually a couple bucks). This is because I am very familiar with the characters and I can use any images however I want relating to my website.

Extras: I'll crop your commission into a avatar in the size of your choice if you so want, as well as prepare it as a wallpaper in the size of your choice. These are optional, but there if you want them. If you want to purchase the originay pencils for the commission you can ask me but I will charge a seperate fee for that.

Examples: The images on the right provide examples of what is being described. They generally do not reflect every single possibility. Detailed descriptions or taking something out of my gallery to show me is a good way to get me to know what you want specifically.  Above the image often are little circles, hovering over them will change the image to show you that variation of the example.

Sizes: I separate commission prices into Bust and Full Body (FB). Bust Shots are anything that depicts a character from the waist up or smaller. Also can include smaller creatures like dogs, tiny dragons, whatever. Up to me what counts as a Bust commission. Full Body commissions are anything that shows or “mostly” shows the whole body of a character. Anything MORE than just waist up fits into this category. Larger creatures like bears or unicorns or whatever also fit into this. Anything insanely huge is liable to cost more. Again it’ll be up to me in the end.

Drawing styles: Looking through my gallery should give you an idea of the general styles I usually do. If you want me to draw something a certain way you need to tell me. If you want me to match a certain style, do something more anime or more cartoonish, ect. I will otherwise do whatever I feel works best.

Prices: The following are base charges, I may ask for a different final price depending on the content of your request. I'll let you know why I am charing more (or less if you qualify for discounts) than what is listed, if you don't agree with it we can try to work something out or you are free to back down from your order. I may change the base prices listed on this site at any time.

Inking and colouring styles: I try my best to show as many variations as possible to help you order. But I cannot depict every variation so there is not an example for everything.  Use these only as general guidelines, there are plenty of other combinations you can ask for that are not listed here. If you got something specific in mind just tell me so.

Pencils-
The very basic piece, all my work starts off as a pencil drawing which later goes into the computer for completion. You can choose to only get a sketch of your commission. I can give some simple pencil shade or keep it just lines.

Bust: $8   FB: $11

Inks-
The next stage after pencils, you can choose only go this far. I offer one colour lineart with simple shading or without, and multiple-coloured lineart.

One-colour inks: Typically this means black lineart, but I am also willing to switch black with whatever colour for same price. Any line thickness you want. Bust: $10  FB: $15

One-colour inks with simple shade: Exact same thing only I’ll throw on some light shade like in example, only one colour. Bust: $11  FB: $16

Multiple-coloured inks: Various colours used to make the linework, such as in example to the right.  Any line thickness you want. Bust: $12  FB: $17

Inks and Flats-
Just get inks and flat colours, no shading. You can get it in various ways. I can also colour pencils.

One-colour inks with flats- Any line thickness you want, just simple inks and flats. You can get these in colour or ask for grayscale, same price. Bust: $13  FB: $17

Multiple-coloured inks with flats- Any line thickness you want, multiple coloured inks with flat colouring. Bust: $14  FB: $18

Simple Cel or Soft Shade-
Simple cel shade and soft shade on your colouring, same price just depends on the inking style combination. I included an example of cell with thin lines to show you how the line's thickness can affect the appearance of the image. Keep it in mind when choosing your final combination. You can use these for BW and pencil pictures too.

One-colour inks simple soft or cel shade- Choose which simple shade style you want. Bust: $17  FB: $21

Multiple-coloured inks simple soft or cel shade - Choose which simple shade style you want. Bust: $19  FB: $23

More complex shade-
This one can really vary, basically anything more than just putting on one or two extra colours, images to the right are just some possbilities. The price may increase depending on how complex you want it, just try to describe as best you can or point to me an example from my gallery or elsewhere and I’ll give you my price. If I don’t think I can duplicate it accurately I’ll be honest with you ahead of time on it. Overall your best bet when ordering from me is to look through this page for general ideas then describe what you want and I’ll name a price. If you choose to be vague with your requests you have to be open minded with what my decision then is. If you’re picky be specific.

(+$2 For coloured lines) Bust: $22  FB: $27

Lineless-
You can get your picture without any lines, shade or no shade. For simple cel or soft shade no lines costs the same price but anything more complex will cost more. Describe what you want and we’ll work out a price. If I don’t think I can duplicate what you want I’ll tell you so.

Simple soft or cel shade- Choose which simple shade style you want. Bust: $21  FB: $25

Complex shade - More detailed shading. Bust: $24  FB: $29

Whether it is for an image with “characters” or just a scenic picture on its own, it’ll really vary depending on the content, complexity, and style of the commission. All the previous guidelines do not include detailed backgrounds only simple colouring or a pattern of some sort. If you want to add a background you need to describe to me what you want and we’ll work out a price. The fee can sometimes be pretty cheap depending on what you want tacked on. You can get your background drawn in any of the styles above, you can get an idea of the possible expensive by comparing how much more certain styles seem to be compared to others. You can have the background be done in a different style than the subject, just keep in mind it'll effect the fee. I price enviroments same for all commissions even if the subject of the image is an EE character.
